�Premi� is an emotionally charged fictional account of an independent girl in her mid-twenties vis-�is her family, friends and the society at large. The Protagonist, Premi (Renuka), hails from an upper middle class family, dominated and controlled by her step mother Sarojini. Unable to withstand her dominance, Premi, a self reliant person had walked out of the house when she was in her teens. After a decade of separation, at the behest of her ailing father, she returns home to get married to Karunakaran.
